Yemen is a country located in the Arabian Peninsula, with a population estimated to be around 30 million people. It is known for its rich history, ancient cities, and unique architecture. The official language spoken in Yemen is Arabic.

The presence of British or Irish people in Yemen is relatively limited due to the country's challenging security situation and ongoing conflicts. However, there may be British or Irish expatriates residing in Yemen for various reasons, such as humanitarian work, journalism, or diplomatic assignments. In the event of the most unfortunate circumstances, should an individual from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, or any non-native origin pass away in Yemen, Rosy International's Yemen team is ready to assist in repatriating their remains (including ashes) back to the UK or Ireland. We can arrange collection from Sana'a, Taiz, Al Hudaydah, Aden, Ibb or any other specified location in Yemen.
