Tuvalu is a small island country located in the Pacific Ocean, with a population estimated to be around 11,000 people. It is known for its stunning coral atolls, pristine beaches, and unique culture. The official languages spoken in Tuvalu are Tuvaluan and English.

The presence of British or Irish people in Tuvalu is relatively limited. However, there may be British or Irish expatriates residing in Tuvalu for various reasons, such as development projects, research, or environmental initiatives. They contribute to the country's development efforts, engage in activities related to their respective fields, and support environmental conservation.
In the event of the most unfortunate circumstances, should an individual from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, or any non-native origin pass away in Tuvalu, Rosy International's Tuvalu team is ready to assist in repatriating their remains (including ashes) back to the UK or Ireland. We can arrange collection from Funafuti, Alapi Village, Nanumea, Savave Village, Tanrake Village or any other specified location in Tuvalu.
Conversely, the Tuvaluan community in the UK is relatively small. They may be dispersed across different regions, but London is likely to have a small Tuvaluan community.
