Azerbaijan is a country located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, with a population estimated to be around 10 million people. It is known for its cultural heritage, natural beauty, and oil reserves. The official language spoken in Azerbaijan is Azerbaijani.
The presence of British or Irish people in Azerbaijan is relatively significant due to economic opportunities, particularly in the energy sector. Many British or Irish expatriates live in Azerbaijan for work in industries such as oil and gas, construction, and finance. They contribute to the local economy, engage in cultural exchange, and promote business partnerships between Azerbaijan and their home countries.
