Ashes must be stored in a container made from security-friendly, non-metallic materials such as glass, ceramic, marble, wood, or plastic.

- The urn must be made from materials that can pass through an X-ray scanner: glass, wood, plastic, marble, or ceramic.
- The urn should be securely sealed and placed within an outer box or case that is cushioned.
- The urn (in its outer case) must fit within your hand or hold luggage without exceeding Emirates’ size and weight restrictions.
Baggage Allowance
Hand luggage must weigh no more than 7 kg and measure up to 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm.
