How long does the process take?

Typically takes around 5 - 7 working days from the moment we receive the death certificate. However, since we depend on approvals from the relevant authorities, it may take longer in some cases.

When do I pay?

There’s no need to make a payment right away. We only require payment when we’re ready to book the flights. If you're paying via international bank transfer, we recommend arranging this a few days in advance, as clearance can take up to 3 working days. As long as the funds have cleared before flight booking, everything will proceed smoothly.

Can I travel on the same flight as the coffin?

In most cases, families can travel on the same flight as the coffin. However, please note that upon arrival, there may be a delay of a few hours before the coffin is available for collection. This is due to the necessary customs and cargo handling procedures.

Is embalming required?

Yes, embalming is generally required. However, we fully respect that some religions and beliefs may have objections to this practice. If you have any concerns or wish to request an exemption, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can I view the body before the flight?

Yes, families are welcome to view loved ones before the flight, but we kindly ask that you schedule an appointment in advance. Please note, however, that viewing may not always be advisable. In some cases, the condition of the body may not be suitable, and we will gently guide you if we feel it may cause additional distress. Sometimes, witnessing the state of the body can be more distressing to your cherished memories of your loved one than it is helpful for finding closure.

How will I stay updated?

You can stay informed throughout the process by speaking directly with our dedicated care team or by using our online tracking platform. You’ll be provided with a unique Progress Tracking ID, which you can use at https://rosyinternational.co.uk/track/ to monitor the status of the repatriation.

What clothing will they be wearing?

We offer the option of a simple gown or clothing of your choice. If you have specific preferences or cultural requirements, our dedicated care team will be happy to discuss suitable alternatives with you.

Can we transport personal belongings?

If you wish to send personal valuables to Brazil, it is indeed possible. However, it’s important to note that the items must be shipped separately, and additional fees would apply. Contact us for more information.

What happens when the coffin arrives?

A local funeral director (consignee) will need to be arranged in advance to collect the coffin and transport it to their facilities. If you require any help coordinating this or have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us—we’re here to support you throughout the process.
