Preliminary Stage
Death Certificate & Cremation
If the body has not been cremated, start here:
- Medical Certificate of Cause of Death: This document, provided by a doctor, is required to register the death.
- Registering the Death: Once the death has occurred, you must register it with the local council.
- Arranging Cremation: To arrange a cremation, you need a death certificate and the Certificate for Burial or Cremation (green form), both obtained from the local registry office. The cremation can only take place after these steps are completed.

Sending Documents
To move forward, we require the following documents to be sent to our head office:
- Original Death Certificate: At least one original copy is required, though additional copies may be necessary in certain cases.
- Deceased’s Passport: Required by the embassy for cancellation. Please note that this document will not be returned.
Next of Kin’s Approval
To represent you with embassies and local authorities, we need approval from the next of kin. This may be the person who registered the death or another close family member. You will need to complete our form and upload a copy of your passport.

Once all the required documents have been sent to us, we will arrange the collection of the ashes.

Stage 2

1) Transporting Ashes via Cargo
This service involves handling all the necessary paperwork and transporting the ashes securely via cargo to the destination.
Step A: Collecting Ashes
We collect the ashes from the designated collection point. Whether it’s a crematorium or another location, we can arrange a collection from anywhere. The ashes are then brought to our facilities for preparation.
Step B: Collecting Documents
All necessary documentation is obtained, including certificates from the coroner, embassy, legalization department, and local authorities. This ensures compliance with international regulations for transporting ashes.
Step C: Urn/Casket Preparation
The ashes are transferred into a specially prepared wooden casket, which is sealed securely for repatriation.
Step D: Booking Flights & Delivery to Airport
We handle flight bookings and ensure the ashes are delivered to the airport, fully prepared for transport to the destination country.
Step E: Destination Country Airport (Upon Arrival)
- You Collect: You may collect the ashes directly from the airport.
- Consignee/Funeral Director: In some cases, airports require a local funeral director or consignee to handle the collection.
- Rosy International Collection: If you have opted for our additional service, we can arrange for our trusted partners to collect the ashes from the airport and deliver them directly to the final address.
2) Our Personal Door-to-Door Service
This service involves a dedicated Rosy International agent personally transporting the ashes on your behalf, from collecting them at any location to delivering them directly to your doorstep (the final address).
Step A: Collecting Ashes

3) Self-Transporting Ashes (Documentation Only)
This service supports you in transporting ashes independently while we assist you with documentation and customs clearance.

We take care of all required documentation to ensure your compliance.
